 Willay | Do you really need to buy all the xpacs?Tue, 02/02/10 09:28:35 AM PST I am trying to do a new account and on the blizzard page to upgrade to full version from trial it mentions giving you full content after you pay the 19.99, so I figured that meant you pay 19.99 and get access to FULL content not just regular WoW, but the xpacs too. Well I did that and it looks like I now need to buy TBC and WoTLK. If you really do need to buy WoW, TBC and WoTLK, that is absolutely ridiculous, that is $90.00 just to start the game, and just think when cataclysm comes out, that will probably be $140.00 for a new player to start. Someone please tell me this is wrong. I am not paying that much for an account, I am just trying to make a 2nd account for myself and there's no way in hell I will do that if I have to pay that much money. The expansion packs add the rest. If you do not like the price, you can either wait until stuff is on sale (you missed some hot Black Friday sales) or not go for it. |
