Patch Failing!Tue, 02/02/10 09:01:52 AM PST
Hello, here is my issue.
i go to download the patch and it tells me to restart, apon clicking restart it then says on the login screen. "Failed to apply patch. Please try again later. If this problem persists you may need to reinstall or contact technical support." i am wondering if it is because my computer has issues connecting to certain things to the internet such as my Internet explorer (but not Firefox) or the news column on the left side of the WoW log in page.
Can anyone help me?
even if i needed to download it manually, is there steps?

Hello Sleepo

Another program maybe interfering with the patch. Try selective startup to get around this.

For Windows Vista and 7 users:

Click Start and in the "Start Search" field type "msconfig" and hit Enter.
In the General tab:

1. Choose Selective Startup
2. Disable (uncheck) Load startup items
3. Click OK and Reboot

Windows XP users:

Click Start and select Run, then type "msconfig" and click OK.
In the General tab:

1. Choose Selective Startup
2. Disable (uncheck) Load startup items
3. Click OK and Reboot

Then try patching the game again.
