Why isnt it allowed?Tue, 02/02/10 09:25:13 AM PST How come WoW doesn't have the entire WoW package with (up to date) patches installed with them on their websites for users who have upgraded? Alot of WoW users experience technical difficulties installing their patches themselves so wouldnt this in fact make things easier? AND make WoW more money? An uncompressed version of World of Warcraft is about 1/2 the size of the installed product. Not to mention lots of redundant copies on different file servers to host your downloads. Basically if you have problems installing the patches, you're not going to handle real-time decompression and reading well which ends up leading to error 134s. :) |
