How come WoW doesn't have the entire WoW package with (up to date) patches installed with them on their websites for users who have upgraded?

Alot of WoW users experience technical difficulties installing their patches themselves so wouldnt this in fact make things easier? AND make WoW more money?

I just don't see the problem myself

We'd have to localize every installer and the uncompressed package is huge. An uncompressed version of World of Warcraft is about 1/2 the size of the installed product. Not to mention lots of redundant copies on different file servers to host your downloads.

Basically if you have problems installing the patches, you're not going to handle real-time decompression and reading well which ends up leading to error 134s. :)
